Rev. Butts was a significant support point in the Harlem people group and is indispensable. He was a prevailing confidence and scholarly pioneer for a really long time. We knew one another for over 40 years, and keeping in mind that we didn't necessarily in every case concur we generally returned together. Throughout recent years, he and I worked intently as co-seats of the Pick Sound Life public mission to assist the African American population with battling Coronavirus. We talked as late as two or three weeks prior about this work, as he was all the while battling disease. He will be immensely missed.
